About the Division A Business License is required for any business physically based in unincorporated Hall County (NOT within any city limit) that provides a product or service in exchange for compensation, no matter how large or small the business, whether operated from your home or a commercial location. All licenses are issued on a calendar year basis and will always expire December 31st each year.
