Jump to BIOS - Neo Geo ROMs require a neogeo.zip BIOS file with the exact same MAME or FB Alpha version as the emulator you select.
MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. When used in conjunction with images of the original arcade game's ROM and disk data, MAME attempts to reproduce that game as faithfully as possible on a more modern general-purpose computer. MAME can currently emulate several thousand different classic arcade video games from the late 1970s through the modern era. REDDIT'S ARCADE COMMUNITY. a multireddit for retro gaming!.

Offenders MAY be banned!! I discovered the BIOS settings. I then discovered the universal bios and how it allows you to easily select region and MVS/AES. However, MAME automatically loads the EUROPE bios.
It's quite a pain to change the bios and all that everytime I load a game. So I opened the INI file, under 'CORE MISC OPTIONS bios uni-bios31' I added the 'uni-bios31' entry next to bios. However, it says 'uni-bios31: invalid bios' when I open a game. That is the exact file name of the bios, so I don't know what's going wrong.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I basically want it to use the specified bios every time automatically, rather than the EUROPEAN bios it defaults to.
